BE YOURSELF, TOGETHER.

We all know that one place where we walk in and never come out empty handed...do I even need to say it? Oh, Target. I recently got the opportunity to team up with Target on one of their latest campaigns, "Be Yourself, Together", In light of Target Weddings! I wanted to find unique items that would pair up with their Dominique Bedding Set which features a beautiful midnight blue design for him. My target bride loves a modern pop of color and orange is so in for the fall season, as you can see all of my photographed room decor products have that poppy edge or a super modernistic feel. I absolutely love the colors together. I even threw in a Sandalwood & Suede scent defuser for him. What really makes the items I chose unique is they were all under $55! Talk about a bargain! for all of my friends who know me, I am all about getting a bang for my buck, so don't be surprised when I show up to your special event with a basket load of goodies, the more the merrier right? It's great to be a Target shopper.

Rag Reveil had its official grand opening this past Saturday July 13th, If you are a Bellflower/Lakewood native, I am almost positive that this space looks familiar to you. After years of being closed I have taken on the position as the Rag Reveil Creative Director, working long hours of amplifying and re-creating the space, my goal is to bring some of the greatest fashion to my hometown (New AND Vintage) but that is just one of the many plans in my books, you will see! Also, the owner herself, a great friend of mine and partner, is working on her first clothing line, all of our customers will have first dibs on some of the coolest stuff, hands down. I am seriously looking forward to creating a community with everyone, establishing that is so important to me. p.s. Thank you so much to everyone who came to the Launch Event! The turnout was insane! You guys were so patient, lining up outside waiting for us to open, I hope you enjoyed the gift bags and giveaways!

A GROWING FAMILY

In just a few short weeks we will be welcoming a new aunt into my family, how exciting. It is amazing to me how much families grow and the dynamics of it all. So far I have been to a handful of wedding showers and weddings for friends and families these last few months and have quite a few ahead the remainder of the year. I thought why not try to document as much as I can to get inspiration for when my big day comes. The day I get welcomed into a new family and a special someone gets welcomed into mine. I am constantly battling myself on that note, there is so much I want to accomplish before then, I am sure there are a majority of women out there who feel the same.

For the moment, I can share my experiences with you (whoever you are) and I hope you can take from the wonderful ideas too. I got two great ideas from my new Aunt's shower, the first one was the adorable box labeled "Cards" for the guests to place their cards in if they did not bring a packaged gift. The second idea was on the invitation everyone was to bring a new pair of underwear that described them the most, the underwear was then placed into a similar box and at the end of the day the bride-to-be had to guess which underwear were from who, leaving her with a large box filled with new lingerie! amazing!
